This collection is 37 linear feet and contains research journals, notes, specimens, photographs, writings, and other documents.

The collection contains papers, photographs, mimeograph sheets, transparencies, inventory cards, guestbooks, notebooks, films, pamphlets, programs, equipment, and other ephemera relating to the founding and operation of Linfield Research Institute. It also contains awards given to director Walter Dyke, as well as scientific equipment used at the Institute.
